Classmate Author Event

26 October 2022

Brown 1990 Leadership Presents

Join us at 8 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, October 26, when the Brown Class of 1990 Bookshelf comes alive at our first-ever author talk. Our classmate Ashley Johnson Mason, a managing editor at Algonquin Books, will lead a conversation with four authors from the class of 1990. Ranging from fact to fiction and all points between, you’ll hear from one of the nation’s top experts on the math and science of dating, meet the author of the first-ever South Asian American young adult novel, unravel the marvelous mystery that is Australian Rules Football, and explore the haunting yet hopeful inner worlds of one of the nation’s top novelists.

Missed the event? Recording is available on our YouTube Page Here,

Don’t miss this chance to spend the evening with Gil Griffin, Jon Birger, Tanuja Desai Hidier, and Zachary Lazar. Hear about their creative processes, how they cracked the code when it came to getting published, and how important it is for people like us to help spread the word about their books. You also may learn the answer to the question of how Perkins created so many writers and book lovers. Ashley has lots of great questions up her sleeve and she is happy to take yours as the evening progresses.

So ally your friends and fellow classmates and head over to Zoom next Wednesday night for our first-ever Brown Class of 1990 author talk.

Ever True,

Your Class of 1990 Leadership team
